The Wing Kings Sauce Guide: All 18 Flavors, Mild to Reaper
A heat-by-heat guide to all 18 Wing Kings sauces, from Honey BBQ up to the Reaper, plus which ones El Paso orders most.
Eighteen wing sauces is a lot of decisions to make while you’re hungry. So here’s the map. This heat guide walks every Wing Kings flavor from the mild end all the way to the Reaper, so you know exactly how hot each one runs before it hits the table.
One thing first: every wing here is jumbo, fresh and never frozen. The sauce matters a lot more when the wing underneath it is actually good.
How our heat scale works
We sort our wing sauces into four tiers, from “no heat at all” up to “order a shake, you’ll need it.” Most newcomers start in the first two tiers and climb on return visits. That’s the smart play.
Heat is also personal. What one person calls medium, another calls spicy. When in doubt, order a few flavors across tiers and share. That’s the whole Wings, Friends & Familia idea anyway.
Tier 1: Easygoing (little to no heat)
Crowd-pleasers. Good for kids, and good for the friend who “doesn’t do spicy.”
- Plain: just the fresh wing, crispy and honest.
- Lemon Pepper: bright, zesty, our classic dry rub.
- Garlic Parmesan: savory and cheesy, hard to stop eating.
- BBQ: sweet and smoky.
- Honey BBQ: a guest favorite, with that honey finish on the back end.
- Mild: buffalo flavor with the flame turned way down.
Tier 2: Some kick (medium)
Where a lot of our regulars live. Flavor first, heat second.
- Spicy Lemon Pepper: the zesty classic with a peppery bite, and a guest favorite for good reason.
- Spicy BBQ: smoky-sweet with a warm back end.
- Cajun: that dry-rub Louisiana warmth.
- Spicy Peach: sweet, fruity, and a little sneaky.
- Sriracha Teriyaki: sweet-savory glaze with a sriracha lift.
- Spicy Garlic Parmesan: the one people keep coming back for; garlic parm with real heat.
- Honey Hot: sweet up front, hot on the finish.
Tier 3: Now we’re talking (hot)
For folks who order spicy on purpose and mean it.
- Mango Habanero: sweet mango, serious habanero. A fan favorite.
- Nashville Hot: cayenne-forward, crispy, and beloved. If you know, you know.
- Hot OG: our original hot sauce, no gimmicks.
Tier 4: Proceed with respect (extreme)
The top of the mountain. Order these knowing what you signed up for.
- Suicide: brutal, not for beginners.
- Reaper: the hottest we make. Say goodbye to your dignity on the way out.
Keep a shake or a Jarritos within arm’s reach. You’ve been warned, con cariño.
Not sure where to start?
If it’s your first time, here’s a plan that never misses: pick one from the easy tier, one from medium, and one from hot, then let the table vote. Our fan-favorite lineup (Spicy Garlic Parmesan, Spicy Lemon Pepper, Nashville Hot, Honey BBQ, and Mango Habanero) is a great five to build that spread around.
